Make Your Own Seed Bombs!

1- Forage for your supplies!

You will need: Seeds, Clay, Soil &/or Compost, Water, a mixing bowl, plate or baking pan.

*Seeds can be harvested throughout the year and are best picked when dry - Please avoid invasive species!

2. Make your Potion!

Mix 2 parts soil &/or compost with 2 parts clay. Slowly and sparingly add in water to create a doughy, rollable texture.

Meanwhile add in the seeds (the earth acts as a cocoon for the seeds, we recommend placing the seeds closer to the inside of the ball).

They should be around the size of a 25 cent gumball.

3. Let dry!

Seed balls were made to be thrown but do best when planted. Before a rainstorm is great unless you will be coming by to water your creations of life often. Spring or Fall plantings are recommended but other times throughout the year will work with proper care.
